Please be advised if you do not adhere to the Terms & Conditions regarding Driver Age, Payment, Driving Licenses, Identification Required and Rental Payment Terms when collecting your vehicle our Cancellation Policy will be enforced.
Cancellations
Reservations confirmed and booking paid
If you cancel your reservation within 24 hours of placing the booking, we will issue a full refund.
If you cancel your reservation more than 24 hours from time of making the booking no refund will be made. All bookings cancelled less than 48 hours from the pick up date and time are non refundable. Please note if appropriate I.D., the necessary payment/deposit is not produced at time of pick up or the Terms and Conditions are not adhered to in any way, and the rental cannot proceed, no refund will be made. Cancellations may be made through phone. No cancellations can be made after the rental start date & time.
If you do not arrive to collect your vehicle (no show):
Reservations confirmed and booking paid
Unless you have cancelled your reservation in accordance with the above terms, if you do not collect your vehicle at the time specified, no refund will be made.
We will, however, hold your rental vehicle available for you for 4 working hours after the time of the reservation.
Vehicles
Vehicle images are examples only. Specific models cannot be guaranteed.
Driver
All drivers must be aged between 21 and 60 inclusive.
Drivers must hold a full driving license.
Liability
The hire (owner) shall be exempted from liability for loss, injury or damage to property or personal accidents, delays irregularities, driven recklessly or while under the influence of alcohol or drugs or the occurrence beyond our control. Windscreen and riot not covered. Vehicles are strictly forbidden from being driven on gravel, unpaved roads or outside Kota Kinabalu or interstate.
Travel Document
It is your responsibility to obtain a visa (where required). Please ensure you have a valid passport for the duration of your trip.
Fuel Policy
Each vehicle is supplied with premium grade petrol / diesel. Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel indicator or refilling charge will be at the renter's expense based on our estimated petrol cost.
Payment
We accept cash only or ATM Transfer.
Driving Licences & history
Anyone who will be driving the vehicle must present a valid driving licenses with their current address, in person, at the time of collection. No copies of licenses will be accepted.
IMPORTANT: On collection of vehicle, renter must present a valid driving license and identification card.
When collecting the vehicle, the Lead Driver must present
- a valid driving license that show current home address.
- additional forms of ID to confirm home address. The other should be a formal document (eg. utilities bill, council tax bill etc) both must be dated within 8 weeks of date of hire
- a credit or debit card in their own name (see section on Rental Payment terms for further details)
- additional drivers must present a valid driving license. We cannot accept an expired photocard) plus passport or national identity card if license does not show current home address.
This accident cover may be arranged at the request of the renter to give the renter and his passengers a Personal Accident Insurance (PAI). Renter will be charged accordingly.
Parking Fees and Traffic Fines
The renter will be liable for all parking and traffic fees and fines incurred.
Terms of Payment
For Personal rental - only payment by cash.
For Corporate rental - An agreed mode of payment may be arranged direct with the management either for ad-hoc or long term rentals. A company cheque covering the estimated rental charge is payable in advance.
Chauffeur-Driven
Rates
Chauffeur services are available based on daily hours of 0800 – 1600, subject to availability. Excess hours are charged accordingly. Rates are inclusive of fuel, insurance, all maintenance charges, parking fee and chauffeur service. All charges for the vehicles is calculated for use within 100 km radius off Kota Kinabalu. For overnight usage, food and lodging of the chauffeur will be borne by the renter
In the event that you return the vehicle earlier than the date originally specified, no refund will be made.
If you wish to return the vehicle after the time originally specified, you should contact the branch to agree this. You will be charged for every day or part-day you have the vehicle after the original agreed date and time at the rate specified on the rental agreement when you collect the vehicle.
Rental period
You will have the vehicle for the rental period shown in your Reservation Confirmation. If you do not bring the vehicle back on time, or if you do not contact us and get our agreement to an extension of your rental, you are breaking the conditions of this agreement. We can charge you for every day or part-day you have the vehicle after you should have returned it to us. Until we get the vehicle back we will charge you the daily rate specified on the rental agreement when you collect the vehicle.
Rental agreement
You will be asked to sign a Rental Agreement when you collect you hire vehicle.
